About Oak Ridge Plumbing & Drain
Oak Ridge Plumbing & Drain exists for one reason: when something goes wrong with the plumbing in your Oak Ridge home, you should not have to call around. Our team is focused on reliable plumbing repair in Oak Ridge, Clinton, Oliver Springs and Norris, covering drain cleaning, water heater repair, leak detection, toilet and faucet repair, sewer line repair, repiping, gas lines and emergency plumbing. We know what this city asks of its pipes: houses put up in a hurry in the 1940s, mineral-rich water from Melton Hill Lake, ridges of dolomite and cherty clay, and arctic cold that arrives without much notice. Call (865) 272-4209 and tell us what is going on.
We are committed to clear, honest service. Our team explains what is likely wrong and what it will take to fix, in plain words, and we offer affordable, reliable plumbing repair at a fair and reasonable price. Our plumbers aim to fix the cause, not just the symptom. A drain that keeps clogging can be camera-inspected. A water heater is repaired or replaced according to its age and condition. A hidden leak is located precisely before a floor or wall is opened. Sewer, gas and repiping work is permitted and inspected the way the City of Oak Ridge requires. We will ensure that your plumbing repair in Oak Ridge is handled by professionals and completed properly.
Checking a contractor's licence in Tennessee is simple, and we encourage it. Plumbing and contractor licences are issued through the Tennessee Board for Licensing Contractors, part of the state Department of Commerce and Insurance. State law requires a Limited Licensed Plumber licence for plumbing projects under $25,000 unless an exemption applies, and larger projects come under the Board's contractor licensing. Any licence can be looked up by name at verify.tn.gov, which shows whether it is active. In Oak Ridge the city issues trade permits to applicants who hold a valid city or state licence for the work, so a permit is a second check. We believe that kind of transparency is part of reliable service.
